Melvin L. Rambo - Director, National Fraternal Congress of America

Melvin L. Rambo, FSA, MAAA, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Equitable Reserve Association. He joined Equitable Reserve Association in May 2005 as Vice President– Administration, and was elected to his current position in June 2006, upon the retirement of Robert E. Miller.

Previously, Rambo had served as the President and COO of National Travelers Life Company, West Des Moines, Iowa. In 2004 and through April of 2005, Mr. Rambo had been pursuing his MBA at Drake University in Des Moines and working as a consulting actuary for such clients as Wells Fargo, a diversified financial services company.

Rambo earned his BSBA degree from Drake University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He has been a LOMA Part 6 Instructor. His professional affiliations include Fellow – LIMRA Life Institute, Fellow – Society of Actuaries, and Member – American Academy of Actuaries.
