Emilio B. Moure - Director, National Fraternal Congress of America

Emilio B. Moure is Supreme Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus.

Moure was elected to the Board of Directors of the Knights of Columbus in August 2006.  In April 2007, he joined the headquarters office as the Executive Vice President, was appointed to the NFCA Board of Directors in November 2008.  In October 2009, he was elected Supreme Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus.

Previously Moure had a successful 23-year career with Emerson Electric Co., holding senior management positions in accounting, marketing, operations and senior management until his departure in 2007. He has a degree in accounting from the University of Long Beach and an MBA from the University of La Verne.

Moure joined the Knights of Columbus in 1985 and has served as Grand Knight of his council, District Deputy and all elected offices of the California jurisdiction, including State Deputy 2006-2007.

Moure was invested in 2001 to the Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.

In 2005, he was presented with the Pilgrim Shell by The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Michel Sabbah in Jerusalem, and in 2008, he received the rank of Knight Commander with Star from His Excellency John Patrick Cardinal Foley, Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.

Moure also serves on the board of directors of KWTV in Mexico City where he has been active with the launching of a positive television alternative for the Mexico market.  He has been active with Special Olympics and the American Wheelchair Mission.
