Annual Meeting The NFCA Annual Meeting is held each September to keep members abreast of industry trends, to promote the spirit of fraternalism and to resolve mutual concerns. Click on the year below to view annual meeting material:
Board Institute Send your Board Chair or other Board Members to the NFCA Board Member Institute, designed to educate fraternal board members on what they can and should be doing to ensure the legal and financial health of their society, protect themselves from liability, and enhance the growth of their society and the fraternal system. Click here for more information.
Mid-Year Meetings Fraternal Benefit Societies have certain disciplines within their operations that are common to all, and the NFCA Board of Directors has designated a number of Sections to focus on specific disciplines or areas of activity common to member-societies. Current sections are Actuaries, Communications, Field Managers, Fraternal, Human Resources, Investment, Presidents, Secretaries and State Fraternal Congresses. Each NFCA member-society is encouraged to send designated representatives to section meetings, which occur at the NFCA Annual Meeting and at the Section Mid-Year Meetings. Attendees have found the speakers, the exchange of information and the brain storming that take place during the Mid-Year Meetings to be especially helpful, click here for more information.
Webinars No time to travel? Enjoy NFCA Webinars right from your computer. Scheduled regularly throughout the year, NFCA Webinars are specifically designed for our member-societies to address topics of interest. Member-societies can benefit greatly from these sessions, which provide useful and timely information for various management personnel. Webinars are simple to attend ... users are instantly connected via the Internet and then by dialing into the provided toll-free number. The most basic equipment and software are compatible and no downloading of programs is needed by attendees. Click here for more information.
JOIN HANDS DAY Sponsored by America's Fraternal Benefit Societies, JOIN HANDS DAY is a national day of volunteering that brings youths and adults together to improve their own communities. A benefit of the day comes through the friendships that will be made across generations. The new partnerships will be an important first step in bringing more young people into leadership roles in many organizations, click here for more information.
