Fraternal Advantage - November 2007
Renew Your Society's Membership in State Fraternal Congresses
As part of National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA)’s continual efforts to assist state fraternal congresses (SFCs), the NFCA is pleased to continue its SFC dues collection program. This program is designed to free congresses from having to invoice NFCA member-societies for their membership.
The NFCA believes that by saving state congresses the time and resources handling this administrative task, it will free their volunteers to have more time to spend planning their annual meeting and community service projects, and monitoring contact with their member-societies on a fraternal basis and maintaining contact with their elected public officials.
In addition, many societies have expressed their gratitude that this process means less administrative work on their part. Imagine not having to write 32 separate state congress checks at different times throughout the year. Through our program, a member-society may write one check for all the SFCs it wishes its society to join.
All NFCA affiliated state congresses are included on the invoice for the 2008 year. You should not receive additional 2008 invoices from any state congresses that you join through the NFCA Dues Invoicing Program.
Please click here to download the NFCA state fraternal congress dues invoice and follow the instructions provided at the top. We have set a January 15 deadline for this invoice to be returned to NFCA with your check. We are hopeful that your society will agree to become a member of all the state congresses listed. The NFCA will send final checks to state fraternal congresses at the end of January, to finalize your 2008 membership. Please do not delay.
If you have any questions, please contact us at NFCA headquarters. We hope you find this process helpful and continue to make this program a success.
