This is a test of the program to give societies a head start in the process when the official program is launched in mid-2009.  The first accredited societies will be recognized at the 2009 NFCA Annual Meeting for their Key Member status.  As societies embark on the accreditation process, the NFCA will assist societies in keeping track of their progress; provide a resource library of information and templates on its Web site; and offer pertinent educational programs to help societies meet each standard.

  • Accredited societies will receive personalized press releases celebrating their Key Member status that can be reprinted in their own publications and shared with local communities and media outlets.
  • A Key Member logo will be provided to accredited societies for use on letterhead, newsletters, Web sites – any place that can promote the status of the society.
  • A template will be created in standard envelope sizes for societies to use in distributing a celebratory announcement for member mailings or renewal notices.
